Delicious Dalston

This one-day food and music event was a trial Sunday market for Gillett Square. Delicious Dalston was part of the London Festival of Architecture’s ‘Fresh’ programme and was designed to give a platform to local sustainable foodsellers. It was supported by the London Development Agency’s Small Grants Scheme coordinated by Sustain’s London Food Link. 
HCD secured this funding through a highly competitive bidding process. Live music was programmed by the Vortex Jazz Club and stalls were held by Growing Communities, Wholsum, Mama Vic’s, the Soil Association, the Irish Icecream Peddling Company and Village Fete.
Over the course of six hours almost 800 people visited Gillett Square.
